This is a very good opportunity to connect with other SIAM chapters. Anyone, who is interested in joining the meeting, please contact us as soon as possible. We can probably cover travel expenses.
Dear All, We are excited to announce the 5th Annual Conference of the SIAM-IMA Cambridge Student Chapter on May 2, 2019, held at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge. The conference includes a broad range of topics in applied mathematics including machine learning, PDEs, continuum mechanics, mathematical biology, as well as applied and computational analysis. We have five great keynote speakers: Prof. Edriss Titi (University of Cambridge) Prof. Xue-Mei Li (Imperial College London) Prof. Coralia Cartis (University of Oxford) Prof. Alain Goriely (University of Oxford) Prof. Christoph Ortner (University of Warwick) We are also looking for 15 minute talks contributed by PhD students and postdocs. The event is open to all undergraduates, master's students, PhD students and staff. To participate in the conference registration is required, but there is *no registration fee* and *free lunch* will be provided, so don't wait any longer and sign up soon!
